Is George Clooney dating Fatima Bhutto?

According to George Clooney's publicist Stan Rosenfield:

"The rumor that George Clooney is dating Fatima Bhutto, the 26-year-old niece of assassinated Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto is false".

George Clooney's publicist e-mailed an online women website saying "The story is all made up,". While rumors continue to grow that the striking actor has been drawing close to Fatima Bhutto, and it sounds like she’s tamed playboy George Clooney.

Fatima Bhutto is the 26-year old niece of assassinated former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. She is a passionate women's rightist writer and journalist, graduated with a degree in Middle Eastern studies from Barnard and received a masters in South Asian studies from University of London.

Fatima is the author of two books: a volume of poetry published when she was 15 years old in her father’s memory, Whispers of the Desert, and a collection of firsthand survivor’s accounts from the October 8, 2005, earthquake in Pakistan entitled 8:50 AM. She published a piece today for the Daily Beast about the shocking case of a Pakistani rape victim and an unjust Parliament pushing to silence the incident.


She knows the art of remaining in news as was recently when she declared that she is expected to contest - from her late aunt’s seat - in the next general elections. Bhutto’s father, Mir Murtaza Bhutto, was an elected member of Islamic Republic of Pakistan's parliament and was assassinated by province police in 1996. His sister, Benazir, was the Prime Minister of Pakistan at the time of his killing.

The actor George Clooney and Fatima Bhutto reportedly met at an international conference last year … but if Clooney’s publicist is denying this, we thought they made a great couple.

While George Clooney is still out there with his usual variety of Hollywood heart glaze hanging. But George insists, if Fatima wants to take their relationship to the next level and spend some serious time with him in the U.S, his play boy days are coming to an end," a source told National Enquirer (the same publication that blew the lid on OJ Simpson and John Edwards).

The conclusion of the matter is; Fatima Bhutto may have been seeing George Clooney, but she is a smart girl and she has been very strong all through the years of her struggle after her father's death. Fatima Bhutto has a great political career in front of her which she would never want to spoil over a fad with Hollywood star George Clooney.
